Four women in a garden with one seated at the left, partially nude; a central figure in a green-and-yellow wrap; a third seated on the ground; and a fourth standing at the right near a tree trunk, reaching upward with a vessel. The warm tan ground of the support does most of the tonal work, with the figures sketched in rapid brown, pink, teal, and dark red strokes. Red and blue flowers are visible between the central figures. Like the Deux femmes, this is a study rather than a finished painting — the anatomy approximate, the setting indicated with a few curving lines for foliage and trees.
