Untitled (Landscape)

A spare landscape study — a single tree trunk rises at center, with light washes of green, teal, and brown indicating foliage and undergrowth around it. A stone bridge or arch is faintly drawn at the lower left. The paper is largely untouched, with the pencil drawing doing most of the compositional work and the watercolor added in scattered, transparent touches. A path or road curves through the right side of the composition. The whole thing is barely there — a few minutes of looking set down in pencil and a handful of green washes.
