A vibrant, highly kinetic abstract landscape sketch. Bright, unblended bands of ultramarine blue sweep across rolling fields of olive green and golden yellow, dotted with rhythmic touches of white. The energetic, almost raw application of the paint highlights Dove's artistic process, showing how he rapidly distilled complex, rolling topographies into simple, rhythmic color patterns and undulating lines.
