An angular, abstracted landscape composed of intersecting wedges and geometric planes. Earthy tones of dark brown, ochre, and olive green are broken by a series of rhythmic, dark dots and heavy black vertical strokes in the lower right corner. Dove briefly abandons his usual curved, biomorphic shapes here in favor of a more rigid, structural geometry, constructing a patchwork landscape that relies entirely on the interplay of flat, earthy color fields.
